Process and challenges
Collaboration with external Japanese agency which conducting user interviews to gain deep insights into Japanese users preferences, behaviours, and pain points with trading platforms.
Research findings revealed that changes need to be done on more wide level and to include different interface components, colour theme and changes in Deal ticket options. That had to be considered by business and technology future development.
Worked closely with stakeholders and product owners on defining the scope of the localisation effort and identifying key areas for improvement based on the agency’s findings.
Prototype and Testing of iterated and localised web and mobile platforms interface, specifically of Deal ticket. Addressed remaining usability issues and concerns discovered during user sessions.
Key results
Grow IG presence in Japan and significantly boost new and active client numbers. Company increased share of Japan’s OTC derivatives market.
